User's Guide - Patching
Patching is the process of updating your hard drive with the latest Arcanity data. We specifically designed the Arcanity patcher to be simple and unobtrusive, something we feel most other games failed to do in a big way.
Patching is incredibly easy. When you run Arcanity.exe, a small patcher window will appear and immediately connect to the patch server and start downloading data. A progress bar appears at the bottom of the window so you have some idea of how long it will take.
While patching a large amount of data, feel free to minimize the patcher and do something else while you wait. The progress percentage will appear in the taskbar even when minimized.
