User's Guide - Commands
You can type many useful commands into the main chat textbox. Commands begin with '/'. Typing text with no '/' in front of it will result in that text being "said" to other players nearby.
- /help: Displays a brief list of commonly used commands.
- /time: DIsplays both Novus and Earth time.
- /quit: Immediately exits Arcanity.
- /tell or /t: Sends a message (tell) directly to another player. No one else will hear it.
- /shout: Sends a message to anyone within a few hundred yards.
- /who: Displays a list of who else is playing Arcanity.
- /em or /e: Emotes an action to nearby players.
- /stats: Lists your current statistics.
- /skills: Lists the skills you've learned.
- /abils: Lists the abilities you've learned.
- /hotkey <[2-6] AbilityName>: A very temporary way to assign an ability to the number keys between 2 and 6. 1 is always MeleeAttack.
- /inv: Lists the items in your inventory.
- /equip <ItemName>: Moves the item from your inventory to your equipment (i.e. you wear it or equip it). Type with no item name to list your equipment.
- /unequip <ItemName>: Removes the item from your equipment and puts it back in your inventory (i.e. you take it off or unequip it).
- /use <itemName>: Uses one charge of the given item in your inventory.
- /trainer: Type in game with a trainer targetted for more instructions.
- /merchant: Type in game with a merchant targetted for more instructions.
- /banker: Type in game with a banker targetted for more instructions.
- /trade: Allows you to trade items and money with other players. Type in game for more instructions.
